El Arrebol: The Moment I Wanted to Capture Forever

El Arrebol: The Moment I Wanted to Capture Forever

There is a very specific moment in summer that has always stayed with me.

It is that small moment before the day ends.

When the sky starts changing colors, the sea becomes calmer, the air gets softer, and everything feels a little slower.

That moment has a name: El Arrebol.

A word that describes the warm blush of the sky at sunset — those golden, pink, and reddish tones that appear for only a few minutes before disappearing.

I have always been drawn to those fleeting moments. The ones you cannot keep, but you remember forever.

And that is where this collection began.

From Swimwear to Island Days

After creating Paros Baby, my first swimwear collection, I found myself thinking about what happens after the sea.

The swimsuit you wear in the morning.
The linen piece you throw over it when you walk back through the island paths.
The dress you put on for a sunset dinner.
The skirt moving with the evening breeze while you share a table with people you love.

I wanted to create pieces for those moments.

The slower moments.

The ones that are not planned but become the memories we carry with us.

Creating El Arrebol

This collection feels very close to my heart because it represents what NISI BAMBÚ has always meant to me: creating pieces that are connected to a feeling, a place, and a way of living.

I was inspired by the landscapes around me — the colors of the sky, the warmth of the sun, the natural textures of linen, and the beauty of simplicity.

Every color was chosen to tell a story.

The soft blush tones remind me of the sky just before sunset.
The sandy neutrals feel like the warm island paths under your feet.
The deeper redtones bring the feeling of the sun disappearing into the horizon.

Made Slowly, With Love

We continue to create in small quantities, focusing on quality, intention, and pieces that are made to be loved beyond one season.

This collection was brought to life by me, Georgia, together with my talented collaborator Loukia, who joined me throughout the creation process and helped transform my designs into different sizes, making sure every piece could carry the same feeling, shape, and intention.

Creating a collection is never a journey made alone. Behind every garment there are conversations, adjustments, small details, and many hours of care.

The beautiful moments you see in these photographs were created together with my dear friends Eliza and Gina, my sister and mother — each one bringing their own energy, creativity, and care into this project.

And behind the camera was my husband, Rami, and myself, who captured the essence of the collection through his photography and helped bring these moments to life.
